Highlights:

Free-Flow Tolling Service enables motorists to pay tunnel tolls with ease using toll tags, without having to stop or queue up at toll booths for payments, thereby saving time and bringing convenience to motorists. The service will be rolled out at all government tolled tunnels and Tsing Sha Control Area.  The journey will be faster, smoother, and easier.

 

This technical sharing will focus on the considerations and challenges arise in designing of FFTS especially for the highly condensed urban areas, as well as the further development opportunities for integration with the Smarty City Blueprint.

 

Speaker:

Mr. Karel Au, Chief Information Officer of Autotoll Limited, Mr. Au has over 20 years of experience in ICT systems and more recently in traffic system projects.  He help to formulate DevOps and Agile adaption, as well as MicroServices design in Intelligent Transport Systems at Autotoll.
